In this batch, we focus on foreign exchange markets, one of the most dynamic areas of global finance. We also explore long-run exchange rate behavior, including the Law of One Price and Purchasing Power Parity, showing how prices across countries influence currency values. Then, we cover short-run exchange rate dynamics, such as interest rate parity, and how domestic and foreign interest rates, along with expected currency movements, determine exchange rates.
